Keynote Speakers
Rev. Dr. Raphael Anzenberger (France)
‘Raph’ was born in France, studied in France and the USA, and has ministered and taught in France, Chad and the USA. In 2010, he created the first Church-Planting Regional Center in Loches (Touraine, France), overseeing the planting of three new churches and the launch of a new center in Lyon. In 2022, he became General Secretary of the French-speaking Baptist Union in Canada with a mandate to revitalize this historic institution. In 2024, he launched Station M, an innovation hub serving the collaborative movement in Quebec around missions and the future of the Church (read more here). In 2025, he became the Executive Director of the Evangelical Network of Quebec, leading the movement into missional engagement and public theology amidst a challenging secularism landscape. He is also the president for imagoDei, a platform which serves as a cultural apologetic media for the French speaking world and an adjunct professor of intercultural studies (CIU, FLTE, Asbury).
Rev. Leanne Friesen (Canada)
Leanne is the Executive Minister of the Canadian Baptists of Ontario (CBOQ) and Quebec, one of the four Baptist regional bodies in Canada. Prior to this, Leanne served as the Lead Pastor of Mount Hamilton Baptist Church in Hamilton, Ontario. Leanne is also the author of the award-winning book “Grieving Room: Making Space for All the Hard Things After Death and Loss” and the upcoming book “After the Terrible: Seeking Solace When the Worst Happens.”
She has led grief events throughout North America, teaching about the importance of making space for lament, grief, and sorrow in our lives. In her role, she travels throughout Ontario and Quebec to support churches. She recognizes the changing faith landscape in Canada and is eager to lead CBOQ in a fresh vision of ministry for a post-Christian context.
Rev. Botrus Mansour (Israel)
We are delighted to welcome Rev. and Advocate Botrus Mansour as one of our keynote speakers. Rev. Mansour is an Arab Palestinian Israeli Christian minister, lawyer, writer, and administrator from Nazareth, Israel.
Installed as Secretary General of the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) in October 2025, he brings decades of ministry experience in Israel and beyond. His work has spanned local churches, evangelical alliances, and parachurch ministries with a particular focus on education, advocacy, reconciliation, and religious freedom. Rev. Mansour is married to Abir, and together they have three grown children and one grandchild.
Rev. Dr. Daniel Zacharias (Canada)
Danny grew up in Winnipeg (Treaty 1 territory), with his maternal ancestors (Cree/Anishinaabe) inhabiting the areas of Treaty 1 and Treaty 5 territory for many generations. After completing his Bachelor of Arts at Providence College, he and his wife Maria moved to Mi’kma’ki (Nova Scotia) to complete his Master of Divinity and Master of Arts (Theology) at Acadia Divinity College(ADC).
While working part-time at ADC, Danny completed his PhD in New Testament studies through Highland Theological College (University of Aberdeen). Danny also carries administrative responsibilities as Associate Dean and Director of the Hayward Lectures. In addition to his role at ADC, Danny is a faculty member of NAIITS: An Indigenous Learning Community.
