Canada Entry Requirements
We recommend you check to see if you will need a visa or an Electronic Travel Authority (eTA) to enter Canada at https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/visit-canada.html
From this page, you will find further links explaining the relevant application process. Electronic Travel Authorities (eTA) are quick and easy to apply for and tend to be granted within 24-48 hours. Visas require a longer timeframe and may involve biometrics needing to be submitted and/or an in-person interview.
Formal invitation letters for those needing visas will be issued only once registration has been paid in full (exceptions may be made in special circumstances). When you register for the event, you will be able to request this letter and supply the information needing to be included. The BWA, in coordination with CBM, will issue invitation letters that will include confirmation of registration and accommodation (if booked at Tyndale) after you have completed the registration process. We aim to have them sent to you within 2 weeks of completing registration. Thank you for your patience.
Please Note:
- If you book other accommodation options, you will need to obtain proof of your accommodation booking direct from the accommodation provider.
- Participants are responsible for obtaining their own visas, including any associated costs. We recommend starting this process early to ensure everything is in order.
- In order to receive a refund on your registration fee and any Tyndale accommodation charges, as a result of a visa denial, the visa must be applied for before April 15, 2026, and evidence of the denial sent to the BWA by May 31, 2026.
- We have been informed that the processing of Canadian visas can take up to six months in some countries. If you only need an eTA, these are typically issued within 24 hours. Please be sure to check what your entry requirements are and if you need a visa, check with your respective Canadian Embassy for processing times.
Airport Shuttles
Shuttle Coach transfers will be available from Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ) on Sunday, July 5, with return journeys on Friday, July 10, and Saturday, July 11. The cost is $22 per person per transfer.
Arrivals – Transfers from Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ)
Sunday, July 5. Transfers will be provided from Terminal 1 at Toronto Pearson airport (YYZ) to Novotel Toronto North York and Tyndale University
Terminal 1 Departures: Noon, 2:30 pm, 5:00 pm, 7:30 pm, 10:00 pm
Important Notes
- All Star Alliance airlines arrive at Terminal 1. All others arrive at Terminal 3, and you will need to take the Terminal Link train to Terminal 1 to meet the group for coach transfer.
- When choosing your departure time, please allow 60-90 minutes to clear passport control and collect your luggage
- Please add extra time if your flight arrives at Terminal 3 as you will need to catch the Terminal Link train from Terminal 1.
- Coaches will leave at the times above. If your flight is delayed, the local team on site will be able to advise if there is space on the next coach or if you will need to find alternate transport to your accommodation.
Departures – Transfers to Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ)
Friday, July 10. Transfers will be provided from Tyndale University to Terminal 1 at Toronto Pearson airport (YYZ) leaving at 2:00 pm and 4:30 pm.
Saturday, July 11. Transfers will be provided from Tyndale University and Novotel Toronto North York to Terminal 1 at Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ) as follows:
Tyndale University Departures: 8:00 am, 11:00 am, 2:00 pm, 5:00 pm
Novotel Toronto North York Departures: 8:15 am, 11:15 am, 2:15 pm, 5:15 pm
Important Notes

- When choosing your departure time, please allow 60-90 minutes for the journey to the airport in addition to your required check-in time.
- Please add extra time if your flight leaves from Terminal 3 as you will need to catch the Terminal Link train from Terminal 1.
- Coaches will leave at these times above. Please assemble with your luggage 15 minutes prior to enable luggage to be loaded.
- If you are not at the coach in time, you will need to find your own way to the airport. No refund will be possible for coach places not taken.

- These must be prebooked by June 26 although availability for any time slot will be until that coach is full.
- Meeting places will be advised closer to the time.
- An entry must be completed for every passenger. Only named registered passengers will be accepted on the coaches
Payments
Please note your reservation is not complete until payment is received. Payment must be made by credit card on this form at the time of registering.
Cancellation Policy
No refunds available for cancellations after June 15.
Other Transport Options
Outside the times of the shuttles, we recommend using Uber or Lyft to travel to and from the airport. The distance is about 18 miles and will take at least 45 minutes. If you are arriving in rush hour, it will take longer.
For those staying at the Novotel Hotel, the hotel is situated right above the North York Centre subway station. You can catch the UP Express train (https://www.upexpress.com/en) from Pearson Airport to Union Station and then 1 Line (Yonge-University line) (https://www.ttc.ca/) to North York Centre stop. There are also direct buses from the airport: https://www.gotransit.com/en.
