Accommodation

We have negotiated 2 accommodation options for you to choose from as detailed below. Both options have limited availability in the various room types, so we encourage you to book as soon as possible to be sure you get your first preference. Places are being booked fast.

Tyndale offers an economical onsite ‘dorm style’ accommodation option at Tyndale on a ‘dinner bed and breakfast basis,’ with shared bathroom facilities located along the hallways. You can choose between one or 2 beds per room (both twin size). If choosing 2 beds, you will need to arrange your own roommate. This accommodation is only available for the evenings of Saturday, July 4, through to Friday, July 10. If your flight schedules have you arriving before July 4 or departing after July 11, you will need to arrange for alternate accommodation for the extra nights.

Room Rates

• US$110 per night per room – one single bed including dinner, bed and breakfast for one person.
• US$190 per night per room – two single beds including dinner, bed and breakfast for 2 people. Note this is the total price for 2 people which must be paid by one of the occupants. You will need to arrange your own room mate.

Rooms are available from Saturday, July 4, and checkout must be completed by noon on Saturday, July 11. However, due to the limited number of rooms available, reservations must include at least Monday to Thursday. Should you not select this minimum number of nights, your registration will be cancelled and you will need to reapply with the correct selection of nights.

Note: Single Rooms are currently SOLD OUT. You can request to be waitlisted on the registration form but we cannot guarantee rooms will become available so we recommend you book a cancellable accommodation alternative as soon as possible so you do not miss out. The Novotel below offers the best rates we have found in Toronto over those days.

Reservation Method

This accommodation must be booked and paid for at the time of registering for the Annual Gathering. The number of rooms available are limited and will be allocated on a first come-first served basis and reservations will close on May 15.

• Cancellation Policy and Early Departure

Accommodation costs paid will be refunded only when a written request arrives in our office before May 31, 2026. An administration fee of US$50 will apply to all cancellations. We regret that cancellations made after May 31, 2026, will result in loss of the entire registration fee and accommodation charge, even in the case of a denied visa as at this time, the BWA needs to pay for the rooms in full without any refund possible.

The Novotel Toronto North York is located about 15-minute drive from Tyndale (3 Park Home Ave, Toronto, ON, M2N 6L3) and can be reserved on a room only basis. Breakfasts and dinners will need to be purchased separately. As of November 2025, the Novotel offers breakfast for $CAD15 (approx. USD$12) per person per day. While registering, you will be able to purchase evening meals at Tyndale. A shuttle service will be provided between the hotel and the university at peak times in the morning and evening.

Room Rates:

CAD$229 (plus taxes) per night per room with one or two beds – ROOM ONLY.

Note: with existing taxes the cost is CAD$281 – as at 20 November 2025 this is approx USD$210 per night. Rooms are available at this rate from Friday July 3 and until Sunday July 12. Important: This rate can only be obtained if reserved before June 1, 2026, or earlier if our room block allocation is fulfilled prior to that date. At that point, the hotel will offer rooms based on the prevailing room rate, if there is availability.

Reservation Method

This accommodation must be booked by calling the hotel on +1 416-733-2929 extension 1 or emailing reservations@novotelnorthyork.com. You will need to be able to provide the following information:

• Group name “Baptist World Alliance” and Block ID#1858360, to avail the special group rate
• Arrival date
• Checkout date
• Name on reservation
• Room type – one king bed or 2 double beds
• Credit card details will need to be given to guarantee your reservation. If booking by email, please ask the hotel to send a securepay link where you can securely provide your credit card for guarantee purposes.

• Sharing a room: If you wish to share a room, you will need to arrange this yourself
• Hotel Cancellation Policy and Early Departure
• All reservations to must be guaranteed to the individual’s credit card. Cancellations are possible without penalty if the room reservation is cancelled by 4:00 p.m. one day prior to your arrival date. Should you cancel your room reservation after 4:00 p.m. one day prior to guest’s arrival date, one night’s room revenue will be charged to your card. This constitutes a no-show reservation and the reservation fee becomes the property of the hotel. If departing prior to the reserved departure date, there will be a fee of 50% of your daily room rate. This may be avoided by contacting the front desk at least 24 hours prior to your revised departure date.
• The hotel is situated right above the North York Centre subway station. You can catch the UP Express train (https://www.upexpress.com/en) from Pearson airport to Union station and then 1 Line (Yonge-University line) (https://www.ttc.ca/) to North York Centre stop. There are also direct buses from the airport (https://www.gotransit.com/en).

Lunch and breaks are included in your registration fee each day.

For those staying at Tyndale, your accommodation cost includes dinner and breakfast for each night stayed

For those staying offsite, you will be responsible for arranging your own breakfast and dinners. While registering you will be able to purchase evening meals at Tyndale so you can continue fellowship and collaboration with others at our meeting venue. These must be booked at the time of registering.
