Please join us in prayer as we begin laying the foundations for a home for elderly people, the continuation of a social ministry that dates back 100 years. What began as a single project has developed into a complex consisting of several buildings, including two residential buildings for the elderly, community housing, a kindergarten, a pharmacy, and a small hospital. Please join us in praising the Lord for leading us this far. - Church Planting
Over the past five years, the Baptist Union has grown from 26 to 29 churches. In 2026, we already have two additional church plants that will become members of our Union. As a result, the impact on local communities is increasing, the number of church members is growing, and – most importantly – new people are coming to the Lord. For this, we are truly grateful. - Join us in thanking God for the faithful witness of Christians in this region throughout history, even during times of persecution and occupation.
Prayer Requests
- New Leadership
As the second term of our current leadership comes to a close, we are approaching the election of a new Board. The process is already underway and will culminate in late May. Please join us in prayer for our future leaders – that they will listen carefully not only to the needs of our churches but also to what our Lord is saying about our life within our communities and society. - Dobrodina
While we are thankful for the Lord’s help with this project, there is still much to be done. We need several people who will be able to commit themselves to the project as well as wisdom for the many decisions that lie ahead. Please pray that it may serve the community and be a witness to God not only once it is fully operational, but also during the process of its construction. - Join us in prayer for those serving long-term refugees along with the ongoing needs of the people in their churches.
