(FALLS CHURCH, VIRGINIA, USA – May 28, 2024) The 23rd Baptist World Congress, scheduled to convene in Brisbane, Australia, from July 7-12, 2025, will feature global diversity and ingenuity expressed through creative arts. Hosted every five years, the Baptist World Congress provides a unique platform for artistic expression, dialogue, and cultural celebration.

Organizers invite artists, musicians, and performers to apply and contribute their unique talents and voices to this transformational global gathering. Throughout the event, planners hope to showcase a myriad of creative arts disciplines, including visual arts, music, dance, drama, and poetry.

“The breadth of music and other creative arts offered at Congress is always an important part of our worship experience and a beautiful expression of our global diversity,” said Carolina Mangieri, Baptist World Alliance (BWA) Director of Global Events and Fellowship.

The application process is now open at BWABrisbane.com/creative-arts with applicants from around the world encouraged to apply as soon as possible. To complete the application, applicants must provide:

  1. A Video of Their Performance/Work
  2. A Photo for Publicity Use
  3. A Letter of Recommendation from the Pastor of Their Church

Gathering since 1905, the Baptist World Congress is an historic event that has long celebrated creative artists within the global Baptist family, and 2025 promises to provide another year of highlighting the beauty of the arts. To learn more about the Baptist World Congress, visit BWABrisbane.com.
