BWA General Council Resolution 1976.1

MOTION was made and seconded, and carried

32GC76 that the following resolution be adopted:

The General Council of the Baptist World Alliance, meeting in Melbourne, Australia, resolves

a. To express deep appreciation to the Baptist Union of Australia, the Baptist Union of Victoria, Whitley College, and the Blackburn North Baptist Church, together with their officers, faculty and staffs, for all their actions in making the meeting possible and eminently successful.

b. To thank the Baptists of Australia, wherever they have been served or encountered by Council members, for the warmth of their Australian hospitality.

c. To pay tribute to the President, the General Secretary, the Associate Secretaries, and the Baptist World Alliance staff for all their leadership and service before and during the meeting.
