BWA Executive Committee Resolution 1969-08.5

In recognition of the excellent arrangements made for our annual meetings and of the kindness shown by our Austrian friends,

We the members of the Executive Committee of the Baptist World Alliance meeting in Baden, 2-6 August 1969, resolve:

That we declare our sincere appreciation to the civic authorities of Baden for their ready co-operation and to Reisebüro Mondial, particularly to the director Mr. R. Kadanka, for their courtesy and service,

That we express our deep gratitude to Pastor Ferdinand Schalk, of the Mollardgasse Baptist Church, Vienna, and to the Associate Secretary of the Alliance, Dr. C. R. Goulding, who have been largely responsible for local arrangements.

That we express our thanks to the staff of the Congress Hall for their devoted service during the period of our stay, and

That we convey to the Austrian Baptist Union our warmest greetings, expressing to them our Christian affection and love and pledging our prayers that God will prosper their work and witness for Him.

MOTION was made by Russell, seconded, and carried, that the Resolution of Appreciation be adopted.
