Committed to nurturing this unity among our BWA family of 51 million believers in 134 countries, we bring together global Baptists for unique opportunities of holy fellowship, worship, prayer, learning, and strategic mission.  

The impact of BWA gatherings is not only experienced by the participants but also by their communities as they return home with new resources, connections, and inspiration. Just this past year, the BWA: 

• Held the inaugural International Humanitarian Action and Development Course where students dialogued about the role of the Church as a humanitarian actor and learned tools to respond to the crises affecting our world; 

• Convened the 10th Baptist International Conference on Theological Education where Baptist educators reflected on what it means to be peacemakers in the world today;   

• Engaged more than 400 participants from 64 countries in worship, prayer, fellowship, and deliberation at the BWA Annual Gathering in Lagos, Nigeria.
