Making Disciples Together:
The Whole Church Taking the Whole Gospel to the Whole World
The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted countless lives around the world – a global need that warranted a global response. Early in the crisis, the Baptist World Alliance launched “Standing Together,” an initiative to unite Baptists in prayer, giving, learning, and service to support churches navigating these unprecedented times. Beyond disrupting lives and patterns of worship, we have seen how the pandemic has also disrupted established practices of evangelism. In response, the BWA and its regional bodies will convene a series of virtual training events entitled School of Evangelism (SOE) to strengthen the church’s witness to the good news of Jesus Christ in this time of crisis and beyond.
