The Commission on Baptist Heritage and Identity seeks to clarify issues pertaining to the heritage and identity of the Baptist family with a view to furthering the local congregation’s understanding of its place and calling in the world and in the worldwide Baptist movement. The Commission records the story of God’s dealings among Baptists around the world and produces materials suitable for use by Baptists and others who are interested in understanding Baptist identity.

Baptist World Congress: 22-26 July 2015, Durban, South Africa
The 21st Baptist World Congress will be held in Durban, South Africa, from July 22-26, 2015. The event will focus on the theme, Jesus Christ, the Door. The program will include inspiration evening plenary sessions; morning Bible study opportunities; afternoon seminars, workshops and fringe festivals; and much, much more.
