  • We give thanks for the leadership of 2020-2025 BWA Vice President Albert Reyes and Vice President Samuel Tolbert in addition to the many Americans who are serving faithfully on BWA Commissions and Committees. We also give thanks for the addition of TaNikka Sheppard as the new General Secretary of North American Baptist Fellowship, the first woman to serve in the role. We also give thanks for the Tenx10 Partnership and discipleship initiatives across North America that are empowering young leaders to speak into the pressing issues of their generation.
  • We give thanks for the leadership of 2020-2025 BWA Vice Presidents Albert Reyes and Samuel Tolbert in addition to the many Americans who are serving faithfully on BWA Commissions and Committees. We also give thanks for former BWA staff member Emmett Dunn who is currently serving as President of North American Baptist Fellowship.

Prayer Requests

  • Ask God to strengthen churches in America as beacons of truth and justice, advocating for the dignity and equality of all people. Pray for churches to be powerful advocates for justice and mercy, calling for policies that reflect God’s love for the vulnerable. Pray for the protection of civil liberties and religious freedoms, especially for churches to remain sanctuaries of truth. Pray for the healing of societal divisions and that narratives of hate and injustice would be dismantled.
  • Join us in prayer for a unified love for God and people and the opportunity to stand together as voices of hope and justice in the midst of political and cultural divisions.
