Description
The Baptist World Alliance developed a Holistic Mission Guide with over fifty articles from around the world in response to the impact of the coronavirus on the mission of the church. This Webinar Series will ensure that Baptists from the around the world benefit from the offerings of the Guide.
The first webinar will guide church leaders and grass root church members through the theme of “Justice and Compassion.” There will be two presenters for this session along with one story teller. The first presentation will be on “A Society’s Outpouring of Kindness” by Sophia Williams and the second by Jonathan Ingleby on “Justice and Compassion: Mission in Post-COVID Society.” A story written by Seketuno Chase Punyu on “Teaching Children to Persevere During the Pandemic,” will be narrated.

Jonathan Ingleby
Jonathan Ingleby was on the staff of Hebron School in India for 20 years. Upon his return to the UK and until retirement, he was Head of Mission Studies at Redcliffe College. He is the author of several books on Christian mission.
Sophia Williams
Sophia Williams is the past chairman of the Communications and Media Committee of Boulevard Baptist Church in Jamaica. She earned a Masters in Theology (UWI) with training in Pastoral Care, Counselling Psychology, and Social Work. She also holds a degree in Electrical Engineering (UTech).
Seketuno chase Punyü
Seketuno chase Punyü is a Montessori school teacher. She is married to Keni and is the mother of two children (ages 7 and 5). They make their home together in Dimapur, Nagaland, India.

Roshan Mendis
With more than 25 years of experience in the field of aid and development, Roshan Mendis is the Director of Asia Pacific Baptist Aid (APBAid). Having served hands-on in grassroots and management environments, Roshan is a sought-after resource person in development practice and a preacher and teacher, particularly in the areas of Integral Mission and Advocacy.
Ann Borquist
Rev. Dr. Ann Borquist serves as Global Consultant for "Mission from Everywhere to Everyone" through International Ministries, ABCUSA. She works alongside partner Baptist conventions in the Asia-Pacific region and around the world to build capacity in church-based community and economic development, theological education, servant leadership, cross-cultural mission training, and refugee work. She has served in the Philippines, the US, and Brazil, and is now based in Aotearoa, New Zealand. They have two adult children and a very special granddaughter.
