An increase in flooding across the globe is devastating already vulnerable countries, damaging crops and infrastructure and threatening livelihoods. Our partners on the ground are focused on providing essential aid, including non-food items, cash grants, food, water, shelter, and clothing to the most vulnerable populations. This amounts to over $450,000 in requests for support. 

Lebanon is filled with faithful and loving people who long for peace. Today their hospitals are filled with wounded, their schools have become makeshift shelters, and the threat of full-scale war looms. Since Monday, September 23, more than 700 people – men, women and children – have died in the wake of bombings across southern Lebanon. More than 90,000 have been forced to flee their homes. Join us in prayer and support as we seek the Lord’s peace.

Baptists across Israel and the Palestinian Territories request fervent prayer for just peace. This includes the Association of Baptist Churches in Israel with 17 Baptist churches and the Council of Local Evangelical Churches in the Holy Land representing 13 Baptist churches in the Palestinian Territories. Join us in prayer and support for those seeking to be sources of light and hope at this time.

As one Baptist family rooted in Jesus Christ as Lord, we bear witness to the biblical truth that ‘if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it.’ We stand with our Ukrainian sisters and brothers as they continue to suffer in the face of war. The humanitarian needs remain great, and your prayers and support are vital to keep ministries of care and compassion going at this time.

On February 1, 2021, the military removed the democratically-elected leadership and seized control of Myanmar. As a result, all ethnic and religious minorities as well as actors of conscience and conviction have been forced to flee or live in grave danger. We continue to stand with the people of Myanmar in prayer and advocacy as they continue to serve the Lord amid so many challenges.
