BWA General Council Resolution 1987.6

This Council wholeheartedly thanks the officers, members and churches of the Jordan Baptist Convention and the missionary personnel working with them for their warm welcome and generous hospitality and for the excellent preparations made for these meetings in Amman.

We also expressed appreciation for the official welcome and statement given by His Excellency Marwan Doudin, Minister of Occupied Territory Affairs, representing the Prime Minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, at the opening of the Council, and we pay tribute to the spirit of openness and friendship shown to us everywhere by the people of Jordan.

We thank the staff and management of the Grand Palace and Regency Hotels and the NET tourist and travel agency for the efficient and friendly service.

We wish to include in our thanks our President, General Secretary and the other officers and staff of the Alliance for their efforts on behalf of us all.
