Praises
- Join us in giving thanks for the two beautiful new church buildings that have been inaugurated recently. Despite a general decrease, new initiatives flourish.We are thankful for the commitment in the national community from our congregations and for the fruitful time at our recent leadership gatherings. Despite challenges, the national leadership is full of hope and commitment.
- We give thanks for the Myanmar Baptist refugee churches in Denmark who are standing together in prayer for and support of the many people impacted by the political coup in Myanmar.
Prayer Requests
- Join us in prayer for our Baptist Union as it is undergoing a restart process to be able to better support the missional work and development of the congregations. The process has however also exposed differences in spirituality and theological convictions, which challenges the cohesion. We pray for the unity of the church and that the diversity in our congregations will bring possibilities and not limitations.
- In 2021, the BWA and European Baptist Federation (EBF) assisted with advocacy efforts in Denmark to stand against legislation that would have forced all sermons not given in Danish to be translated and submitted to the government. We continue to pray for these religious freedom efforts to stand and for God to bless the faithful ministry of Baptist churches in their communities.
