Praises
- We give thanks for the hospitality of Jordanian Baptists who hosted the 2025 EBF Council and 75th Anniversary Celebration. We also give thanks for the leadership of Nabeeh Abbassi who was appointed last year as the first BWA Ambassador to the Middle East.1
- Join us in thanking God for the convention’s ministry with Syrian refugee families and children.
Prayer Requests
- Pray for continued peace and protection for Jordan. Pray that Jordan would be an impactful leader in the Arab World for truth, love, and human rights.
- Local member partner leadership shared the following requests:
- Pray for continued financial provision to further the work of Baptist churches and ministries in Jordan and throughout the Middle East. Pray also for the opportunity to further develop the baptismal site along the Jordan River as an outreach to many.
- Pray for safety and stability in Jordan. We are surrounded by war and troubles on our borders.
- Pray for the Jordan Baptist Convention Council to have wisdom in leading our churches and mentoring our pastors.
- Pray for believers with a Muslim background to stay strong in their faith and for the Lord’s protection over their lives.
