Praises
- We praise God for the ongoing commitment of our churches to witness through diaconal service, advocacy, and solidarity with the most vulnerable, even in a challenging social and economic context.
- Join us in prayer for opportunities to minister to those facing poverty in Italy. Pray also for religious freedom and freedom of conscience in Italy which currently lacks a framework law regulating such freedom for all religious and non-religious denominations.
- Join with Union President Giovanni Paolo Arcidiacono in expressing praise for the continued growth and development of the Christian Evangelical Baptist Union of Italy and for the many lives that have been touched by the gospel through this ministry.
- We also give thanks for the strength and perseverance of the Italian people, even in the face of challenges and difficulties.
Prayer Requests
- We ask for prayer for our country in the face of increasing social fragility: the rise in poverty, the growing number of people experiencing homelessness (with 414 people having died on the streets in Italy in 2025), and the widespread economic insecurity affecting many families. We ask for prayer for the growth of our churches and for new pastoral vocations – that God may call, form, and sustain women and men for ministry, and grant wisdom, courage, and hope to those serving in pastoral leadership.
- Join us in giving thanks for the continued growth and development of the Christian Evangelical Baptist Union of Italy and for the many lives that have been touched by the Gospel through this ministry.
- Join with President Arcidiacono in prayer for the poverty in Italy, which is advancing as a result of great inequalities among the population and creating great hardship within families.
- Pray also for religious freedom and freedom of conscience in Italy which currently lacks a framework law regulating such freedom for all religious and non-religious denominations.
