BWA General Council Resolution 1989.7

The General Council of the Baptist World Alliance, meeting in Zagreb, Yugoslavia, August 1989, calls on all the member conventions and unions to pray for our world congress in Seoul.

Between now and next August, we ask that in all the churches, we Baptists join together one the first worship day of each month to pray for the 16th Baptist World Congress in Seoul, Korea, August 14-19, 1990 — to pray that we may there experience a fresh visitation of the Holy Spirit, empowering us to take the gospel to the whole world in the last decade of the 20th century.
