世界浸信会联盟执行委员会于1964年8月17日至21日在德国汉堡举行会议，欣喜地收到了这样一份报告：我们在西班牙的浸信会弟兄们现在享有比以往更大的自由度。福音派教会的重新开放以及其他证据表明，该国的情况有了很大的改善。那里的当局应受到我们的赞扬，因为他们采取了这些渐进的步骤。
We commend our Spanish brethren for their wise use of the new opportunities afforded them. They are enthusiastically opening new preaching centers, forming new churches, and emphasizing stewardship in such a way that these churches may soon become self-supporting. We join our Spanish brethren in hoping that by God?s grace they shall be enabled to use to the fullest the opportunities afforded them by their new situation.
此外，我们向我们的西班牙浸信会教友表达了我们深深的、持久的基督徒的感情。我们也和他们一起向我们的天父热切祈祷，希望在目前这个宗教宽容的时期之后，会有承认所有人的宗教自由的立法。
